Have you ever found yourself in an identity crisis when life or business changes (as they’re prone to do), and it leaves you wondering who you are?
When we anchor our identity to our plans, achievements, the outcomes we seek, and the roles we play, an identity crisis is inevitable when things don’t go our way or when the rules or definitions change.
But wait, there’s good news!
When you said yes to Jesus, you were made new and that means, a completely new identity and a completely new purpose for your life. You were made to be an outward witness to the world, a bearer of His light. And that changes everything about how you live and work. It means you belong to no other authority, and only He can define you, your purpose, and what success means for you. You are no longer tied to the things of old! But it also means you can’t live by your way and His way at the same time – I know, OUCH!
In episode 213 of Redefining Hustle, we’re unlocking the chains of identity crisis with the first key to redefine hustle:
DEFINE: Allow only God to define you, your purpose, and your success.
Be sure to grab your copy of the 4 Keys to Redefine Hustle, and don’t miss these highlights:
- Escaping identity crisis by letting Him define you means you’ll sound, act, and look differently to the outside world – don’t be surprised when people don’t get it.
- “What you think you know doesn’t matter now, if Jesus chose you, that’s where your confidence comes from.” Philip, The Chosen
- If you fret over the time you’ve spent walking outside His will, remember: you haven’t lost any time, it’s just been rearranged and you’re gaining it back thanks to Jesus!
These scriptures were discussed in today’s episode – I encourage you to read and study them for yourself:
